too rich at idle,eratic idle..

ok guys.........i have tried to burn my own chips.................paid butt load of cash for a custom chip........and still can't get it right.......here's the problem......my engine runs way too rich at idle and idles up and down......sometimes stalls ........i have adjusted the fuel pressure down and still can't get it right.......the chips i have tried to burn won't idle at all and the ses light stays on with a memcal problem..........the custom chip does the same thing that the stock chip does.......all i am running is a set of slp runners,bigger t/b and aftermarket heads with the gmpp lt4 hot cam............please someone khelp me

SES with Memcal problem? Are you reading a code 51? or are you seeing a flickering SES when on. Both symptoms are bad and no amount of tuning will make a difference. Take your question to the DIY Prom board, if you want better help. Sounds like you either aren't burning the chip correctly or you have a bad ECU (since your custom chip is the exact same problem).

might be as simple as putting the eprom in backwords. the notch on the chip should face the out side edge of the memcal

nah chips are in there correctly............the chips i tried to burn didn't work right....no communication with the scanner....the custom ordered chip works but i still have an idle problem and rich problem
