Stock one, the 4 centre intake bolt holes are at a 72* angle, (1987 - 1992 ) I need these holes to be at a 45* angle to match the older style head bolt pattern, ALL 45* .....you know who screwed up and forgot to order the proper parts.... . GTA

I can take some pictures, have the manifold off the car laying on a table.

The angle is actually 90 degrees, to the surface of the intake face of the head.

believe it or not, i never used teh middle bolt holes, i just sealed it really well with RTV, and left it alone. Works great, and i have the old style heads, $92 castings.

I believe it, but would NOT recommend doing this.

if you want a lil better idea of the pic for both holes just look at a superram intake its drilled to accept both styles.

ya sure i'll try to get a picture of it, the reason i didin't bother was the master mechanic who let me biuld the engine in his shop said that the intake would fit and i didn't need to be worrying about a leak. He has been doing this for over 60 years, so i believed him. BTW, he is 93 and used to be in the japanese concentration camps, so he really has been doing this for 60 years....

I fit a newer style TPI intake to some RPM Performer heads. I used a stepped drill bit and just estimated the angle. It worked well. It has been three years and no leaks. I used the ARP bolts with a large flange on the head of the bolt.
