Ordered headers and y pipe and should have them on by the car by the weekend

I guess the next thing should be the intake. Aprt from manufacturers such as slp. If I were to use the intake manifold from a 98 LS1 would it fit on an 88 305 TPI and will it result in a noticable improvements?

If Not, is it worth modifying the intake and throttle body manually or better to go buy a modded one?

Should have plenty of ideas for you from the HSR, Miniram, modding the TPI, and LT1 conversions. Most peole consider one of the above unless they just want to do a full LS1 engine swap replacing the current powerplant.
