I have a 91 TPI 5.0 in an 86 IrocZ. I would just like some guidance on basic engine upgrades that don't require severe dismantling of the engine itself. Just basic upgrades and what you think I should do to breathe somemore life into the old girl

 

tuneup (with good parts), DIY ram air, catback, And a shiftkit.

I assume the tuneup is in good shape?

Try a search on "free mods" also porting plenum, then get adventurous and get into EPROM burning for you own fuel and spark curves.

After that, you'll have to start getting dirty and look at a better intake and exhaust...then there's suspension...oh no..you're hooked and broke
