wiring changes needed for '730 ECM
i own an 87 S10, and i am trying to swap in a 350 TPI using a '730 ECM. i have posted a few questions here and i don't seem to get much help, im guessing because i don't own a 3rd gen.
i have a question reguarding the 5V ref. for the TPS and MAP. i am reworking a 89 S10 2.5L harness to work with the '730. the diagrams i have for the '730 show the TPS getting power from A5 (ctk 416), and sharing a ground with the MAT. the MAP is powered from A4(ctk474), and grounded with the CTS. on the S10 harness, TPS and MAP run off the same 5V ref. basically, these sensors should all be getting power, but there would be an open 5V ref signal. will this mess things up, or will it still be ok. i would think that as long as everything has power and is grounded, than everything should work, right?
anyway, sorry for the long post. i hope someone out there can help me out. i might not have a camaro, but at least its not a ford right?

I'm going to move this to the TPI forum, and let the mod there decide whether it should live or die.
