Power numbers?
Power numbers?
Wasn't really sure where this was supposed to go but my friend recently purchased a '91 RS. It has a 140k on the body but got a fresh TPI 350 at 40k. It's bored to a 360 with an extremely mild cam (don't know the specs; sorry) and stock heads. It's got hedmen headers with a flowmaster exhaust. He was wondering what kind of numbers he could expect it's putting to the wheels and also, what would be the most economical as far as modding it further goes. He's not looking to run 11's but he wants to keep up with LS1's. What would be the best route? Cam? Better bolt-ons? Heads? Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt

Cam and heads are going to give you the highest increase. If you search the site you will find a ton of head options. Trickflow and AFR seem to be the consensus for the best heads. Now on the cam thing you are just going to have to do the research to find out what is going to be the best one with the combo that is being run. Everyone has an opinion as to which cam is the best, but the next person might not think the same way.
