Fuel injector drivers
If my fuel injector drivers are bad is there a way to test them. If they are bad how can i get them repaired and who can do it and for how much? Thanks.
Problem: The car starts fine, idles fine, after running for a minute or so it runs rought at higher rpms and if it is turned off it will not restart. the #7 injector is a 3 ohms, and number #1, and #2 injectors are at 13 ohms, all the others are at 16 or 17.
I disconnected the 3 ohm injector, ran it, turned it off, but it would not restart.

1) The "injector drivers" are located in the ecm more as a force. Forget about replacing them.
2) The injectors should ohm from lead to lead @17ohms.
3)Injectors #7, #1 and #2 are gone. #7 is shot.
4)Replace the whole set of injectors not just #7 #1 and #2.

I just bought a set of accel 24 pound injectors, i will put them in this weekend, i did just remove the connector from the 3 ohm injector and it did not make a difference. the car will still not restart after it is shut off after it has been running.
I have to wait a while before i can restart it. Could it be something else like the ignition module. Or is it just the injectors?

You have those great crappy multecs on there now. I'd rethink those accel injectors... do a search, we've had some good colorful threads on 'em. Do a little research before deciding on those. Follow links in these threads for more.
