which volume

i'm in teh market for new heads and an intake.I have a 90 formula 350. want to know what is the stock intake volume on the heads and would 170cc intake be sufficent for an edelbrock inatke and runners, 1 3/4 headers and a mild cam???thanks in advance guys

Most of the stock castings I've bothered to CC have been around the 155-160 range, and very few have been at the upper end. Of course, if they're off and being checked for port volumes, they don't go back on without a little work. Otherwise, why bother?

If you're sticking with the TPI intake, using very large port volumes can be conterproductive.
