I do not know for SURE what my engine internals or the size of my injectors. I was told they were 36lb but I am not for sure.

Too large of injectors without a computer tune is just dumping unneeded fuel into the cylinders. It would be a good idea to figure out as much information about the motor as possible. If you look on the back of the block near the distributer you will find a stamp on the block. This will tell you what size motor you have in there. I personally do not know how to check the size of the injectors without actually having them flow tested. Maybe someone else will be able to tell you.

if you have a 305, you'll have 19lb injectors, if you have a 350, they'll be 21 lbs injectors i believe, i know i went with 24 svos on my 355 nd now i have to give it throttle(open air) to get it to crank
I think i need a larger throttle body to compensate for the fuel
after market injectors go from 19, 24 36, 48,52 lb and some even go up to 96 lbs!!!

Meatwad its sounds like you dont kknow who the previouse owner is ?
If it has 36 lb injectors there is a possibility that you might have a larger motor than a 350 than cross referencing the block numbers will mean nothing.

What color are the injectors ?
