I just started my car today and it started fine, then when it went to drop down to idle it just died. SES light on all the time. I tried driving it down to get it scanned but the light turned off when my car warmed up and was acting fine after that. Also I removed the smog pump one of my friend's thinks that might have something to do with it but it's been working fine until now, any ideas?

 

Scan for error codes while the codes are still in memory. That may be your best hint as to the source of the problem.

 

ok this is what I got 34 and 43
MAP voltage is low during ignition turn on and problems with the electronic spark control.

 

also the problem has gotten worse I couldn't even drive it down to get scanned.
