Stupid Question I Know.....

ok i know that this is a stupid question but i dont know the answer...i ordered some hedman headers and they dont have a o2 bung....so i was like...well if i dont install the sensor...whats the worst that can happen....sssooooo.....what is the worst that cant happen????? also...how many O2 sensors does a 89 IROC have...i was told two but i can only find one.....

Axle/Gears: Always the good ones
U will need an 02 sensor or your car will never go closed loop.

U need the 02 to provide feedback to the factory ecm for proper fueling.

Your better bet would be to install and AFS 74 which is the heated version of your stock 02. That way it would remain hot at all times and not cool off due to the header design.

You can buy an O2 bung at the parts store and drill the header, and weld it in.

You have (1) O2 sensor on your car.

Yeah exactly what brutalform said its that easy. Buy it from jegs or summit any reputable muffller shop should be able to weld it in after you drill the hole.
Your car will run like a total piece of junk with out it.
