time to upgrade fuel system?

Mods in sig plus tpis runners, big mouth base, and 52mm throttle body. Even with afpr, will the 22 lb injectors get it done? Time for 255lph fuel pump? Lift on the cam is .490. And now a bit off topic... i've got a spare SD harness and ECM. With these mods would it be worthwhile to swap over from MAF?

Stock fuel pump supports ~400-450 hp...
22lbs injectors ~400hp with raised pressure.
Your more than fine with MAF.....which ported/and tuned can support 450+ hp. All of these is at the flywheel.

Unless your doing a major build-up soon just have a 255 on the side and when the stock one goes up,just swapp that in.

Awesome. That's exactly what i was hoping for. So then why do so many swap 24 lb injectors onto nothing motors? Uneducatedness?

So they can put them in their sigs as well.

They swap because fuel injectors wear out after 15-20 years which is how old our TPI 3rd gens are. Dealer prices are through the roof for new injectors as well as parts store prices. The best deal going for aftermarket injectors are the 24# SVO injectors for $209 a set.

That's why so many people are using them.
