I have a 1985 305tpi trans am automatic
it has full flomaster exhaust no cat or air headers k/ns accell coil and few other things. My car when stated cold immediately dies after 5 secs if i don't keep the gas up. I was wondering if any of you have this problem. I know al ot run really rough on the low but this wont run at all without help. started doing this right after i put the haders on. I found a couple busted plug wire, a lose spark plug. Fixed them. Ohh yeah just bought the car haven't been the mechanic on it fo to long. new manifold gasjets new fuel filter. The iac and tps were recently adjusted however i don't believe thi to be the problem. throuws the ses light once and while too

 

My car did the same thing and I put in a new fuel filter and it didn't do it anymore.

You also need to correct your spelling alittle bit to make your post more readable. Not to be mean, but it took me a couple times reading it to understand it.

 

Sorry for the confussing begining. It already has a new fuel filter. Iam going to adjust the tps and IAC vlave this weekend. Hopefully this will work.
