86 vette PROM
Heys guys,
My neighbor just gave me a Prom from a 1986 Vette.
anyway, my car which Had a LB9 5.0L was taken out and fed to the dogs. My new setup .. a MAF L98 backed by a 700r4.
will this 86 MAF vette prom work with a 1989 TPI car?
I was intending to run my 350 with the 5.0 PROM,
instead I could pop the 86 vette prom in that is already dialed in for an L98.
I was told using the 5.0 prom would still run, but who knows how well it would run.
my guess is it would probally be tempermental

Running my MAF 355 with a TPI '87 305 PROM, correct 350 injectors/ESC, no cold start.
Cold start IS the worst issue, although there is a healthy off the line bog if it's floored. Mileage seems to be less than optimum too.
Trick I found for cold start is to crank the engine for a split second, then crank it like normal immediately after. Essentially adding a bit of fuel. Starts much easier like that.
Correct PROM is upcoming, I've got the tools to burn them now, it's the "right" fix.
