Questions about tpi runners and plenum

What do you guys use to hone down inside the runners? I tried to search but didnt see anything. There is alot of carbon in the plenum and runners and intake also what you use to clean all that out. With the runners i need some kind of flexible shaft that can go in a drill and i can spray some cleaner down in there and hone em. Any cleaner that cuts the carbon the best? Thanks

I soaked the things in carb cleaner and some castrol purple cleaner. Some people put them in the dish washer.

You really can't hone the stock runners AFAIK without weakening them too much. Look how easily they dent already. Lots of people have their aftermarket runners extrude honed.

For cleaning, I bought one of those dish scrubbing brushes that are shaped like a big loop with all the bristles coming off of the loop. I cut it on one end, straightened it out, and there you have it, A giant pipe cleaner!

Brake cleaner works pretty well in getting the heavy dirt and crap out of them. you could try that to get the heavy stuff off first.

brake cleaner, engine degreaser, wd-40 whatever works, you can use soap but that will take forever, just wash them with water afterwards and dispose of the the water when your done. As for tools scrub brush, rag whatever floats your boat
