Got a question about the power I'm making..

Hey guys i'm new to this forum, I'm usually on camaroz28.com but since i heard about this, ill be spending alot more time here heh. Anyway I have a 1992 Camaro 350 TPI with the following specs..

Comp Cams Roller Cam - 224I,230E @.50/
.513"I,.520"E

Comp Cams roller tipped rockers (1.52:1)

Comp Cams 1.437 dia duel valve springs

Comp Cams locks, retainers and 11/32 teflon seals

Holley Twin 58mm throttle body

Gasket matched intake ports, and throttle body body ports

Heads resurfaced and machined to accept cam hardware

Port and polish job

Heddman 1 5/8" shorty headers with Y pipe

Catback exhaust

Underdrive pullies

K&N filters

MSD 8mm wires

Accel 300+ digital ignition

Hypertech Stage 2 chip

160 degree thermo, 176 degree on/166 degree off fan switch

3.73 gears

Accel 30# injectors with adjustable fuel pressure regulator

Corvette Servo

Transgo Shift kit

Right now the engine is being rebuilt (bored .30 over etc) and im reusing my heads, cam and intake. Now i know that the intake and heads on this car arent the greatest, and that the cam is alittle big for my stock heads, but the car needs alot of work and I couldnt blow it all on the motor alone. Ok so my question is what hp/torque will i expect to see from this combination? id like to get a rough estimate to see if I want to make any changes before final assembly. I'm hoping for 350 flywheel hp...but you guys will know better then me, so what do you guys think?

Its possible to hit 350 on a good tune with that setup, depending on how good the heads and intake really are.
I was at 280ish at the rear on a somewhat similar setup, picked up some more with tuning and minor mods, probably another 20-30hp.

Welcome aboard! Your combination looks great, except for one thing, the Hypertech chip. With the S/D system, you will definately have to tune that to get the best results, and power. Does Diablo tune on the fly, or are they going to guess? Ever considering taking a look at the DIY Prom board? I believe you will make the numbers you are after. And even MORE with a properly tuned eprom.

I HEARD, now im not too sure, that they take the car, dyno it, tune it with a new custom chip according to my specs, then dyno it again and try to make the most power.
