Heh, that's rare - the seller is actually posting the resistance value of the resistors he's selling. 8200 ohms would replicate 32° F.
If you search around more on eBay, you can find bulk packs of 100 resistors for $0.99 or even $2.00 - one or two cents
apiece!
In theory it works by fooling the computer into thinking that the incoming air is colder, which means it will dump more fuel into the chamber. Generally, more fuel = more power and of course your MPG will go down.

Stick to intakes, heads, cams, headers, pipes and gears.

Let try a few things here. Off the top of my head this is just a few of the tables, and constants that the ecm uses NOT only to deliver fuel but also to control other functions.
EGR Enable Min. MAT Temp
Crank Fuel Delivery Delay vs. MAT

i spent my 10 mins of reseach time and could only find one result from a rally site. they are using this mod but running like 120+ octane fuel, i think i'll stick with the heads, cam and big bore theory. add up what the fuel would cost to go pick the wife up for a half hour ride!
thanks for the feedback guys
