TBI Aftermarket camshaft

I have a rebuild to do on a 1993 TBI 5.7 equipped 1500 series pickup.
I will be switching to a set of Vortec or Dart 165cc Iron eagles cyl heads.

Does anyone have any experience with an aftermarket cam that DOES NOT need a reprogrammed Ecm?

Hey man, unfortunately the TBI is so sensitive, to get max power from the changes, a custom TBI chip is needed especially if you are going to a better flowing cylinder head.
