Need aftermarket intake
Need aftermarket intake
Well i am in need of the bottom intake so i thought i will get a modded one.
Mods i have done are, 3" headers and 3" hooker cat back.
Hope someone answers by tomorrow cause i need to place an order, so far i think EDL-3890 at summitracing.
Also, what hp gains can i expect?
thanks,
Sam

I ended up placing an order today
What do you think of the intake I mentioned in the first post?
I chose that to stay on the emissions legal side.
What HP can i expect and most importantly will i feel it in my pants and get a smile ?

I run that intake on my TPI system. I had it extrude honed and I think it is a fine intake. However to get the most out of it you also need to get a good set of runners and port your plenum.
It is just one part of the intake system upgrade. The biggest single improvement will be a total upgrade of your exhaust system if you have not done so already. This would be from headers to a good cat-back system.
Be sure to port match everything. Allen
