TPI Tuning for Altitude

I recently moved from Arizona (1000ft) to Colorado (5000ft). Obviously my TPI doesn't run as strong up here but I was wondering if the are any tuning tricks to make it run a little stronger at the altitude.

I have a '88 with a 350 and MAF TPI.

What can be done to help it out a little? Adjust the TPS a little, adjust base timing? etc?

I am currently running about 5* base timing on my motor. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Harley

I recall a high altitude chip that GM spec'ed...unsure of what it will get you though. The majority of your butt-dyno loss is due to less air.

Well, u can jack the timing up some, sinc eyoua re at a higher altitude. Not really the right way.

Hit the DIY PRom board and get yourself into some tuning :-)

Will help you out alot and let u eliminate all the annoying things the factory does in our cars...
