Need HELP with Injector Decision
Need HELP with Injector Decision
I am debating to replace my injectors out of a 5.7 350 GTA without having to change anything else besides the injectors (i.e. AFPR, mod chip). I was looking at a set of HO 19# Ford Injectors Part # FOTE-9F593-DB5. Will these work in my setup? Are those injectors the same as these Part #397-M-9593-C302 from JEGS.com. Will these work in my car? Otherwise I was also considering a set of Accel 23# or 24# injectors. I need help and advice, Thanks in advance.

I would recommend the SVO's.
A stock 350 uses 22# hr injectors.
Best match from SVO would be the 24#'s and change the injector constant in your chip to 23.8 or have someone do it for you.

I was also leaning towards the SVO's but I thought that 19# SVO's run around 21 to 22 # due to fuel pressure. Am I wrong. I would like to get new injectors without having to change the constant.

A 24# SVO is just that in our cars, the 19's are 19's and the 30's are 30's.
They are rated for flow at the same pressure as GM is aka 43.5
Ford rates their injectors differently because they use 38 or 39 psi in their own vehicles.
A 24 is a 24 though I have even tested it out on a bone stock car. Ended up using 23.8 as the Inj. constant.
