8.8 accels

anyone ever hear of these plug wires causing a stumble? yes they were routed the right way. I talked to my mechanic and he said that due to the low resistance of the wires that they effectivly change the heat range of the plugs.

any thoughts, anything that i can do to get them to work with my car? plug wires i have in it now are AC delco Rapid Fires

i am a huge fan of these wires
i have them on the TA, truck and her formula

i have never had an issue with them

to me they are a great quality wire

as for rapid fires, my opinion is that plugs like those are crap.

i prefer stock plugs or straight out bosh plats

i am also a huge fan of msd boxes.

what i'd recommend is look under the hood at night see if you see any arching

as for heat range change, thats an interesting though, all the wires should do i get more voltage to the plug to ignite the fuel

msd wires are also pretty nice too

I agree with most of what Don, stated, I do not have any experience with the Accel wires. I have always bought MSD and have been very happy so far. I am not really happy with their Accel's caps/rotors but it could just be one bad experience. I definitely do not like Rapidfires, they are difficult to work with because of their length and I did not seem to get the same spark as out of the Bosch Plats I prefer to use. As far as an MSD Box I really don't see the need on a thirdgen, unless of course you have removed the harness and are going carbed.
