Hey guys, please don't hate me for posting this here, since this is for my truck. This place has been ALOT of help for my first TPI swap into my Chevy Nova so I figger I will ask here since nobody anywhere else has much info.

Ok, I have a 88' TBI 350 shortbed 1/2 ton pickup. I am pretty sure it is very similar to the TBI motors in the f-bodys also. My questions are.....

1... is there any way to use my factory wire harness?

2... what computer will I need to use? I know there is a couple of different ones for s/d and mass. I will be using mass if I can't use my original harness.

3... Does anyone know any sites I can go to, to find info on a swap of this nature? fullsizechevy.com is verry little help since there are only a handfull of guys that have ever done this. I don't want to keep bothering just one guy all thetime.

I have a complete painless harness for the swap but I don't want to use it if I dont have to. I will use S/D or MASS air. Either way is fine for me. My setup won't be all that radical. I pretty much know how the TPI thinks now since I have sucessfully completed one swap. I just need to know the basics so I can use the stuff I already have in the truck. I would hate to install the complete wire harness if I don't have to. The last on was a b****!!!
