tbi/tpi vats problem

Just did a tbi/tpi swap and the ecm is getting a code 46 for VATS. Supposedly, isn`t vats suppose to diable the fuel pump or does it disable theinjector drivers? I have my pump running and i have the signal going to the injectors but not the 12 volts.

AFAIK, if you have fuel pressure, and the ECM is pulsing the injectors, the VATS system is not the problem. The 12VDC source for the injectors is through the "INJ1" and "INJ2" fuses in the passenger compartment fuse panel. I don't believe that the VATS or starter enable relay interrupt this supply to the injectors. From my understanding, the VATS only inhibits the ECM from pulsing the injectors (on the switched ground side of the circuit).
