Dyno results dissapointing, e/t's are not!

I just got back from the track and I have new bests in every category.

E/T: 12.63
MPH: 107.99
'60: 1.695

Last years best was 12.89, 105.60 and 1.76.

So my dyno results tell me I am making 280hp at the wheels. But my e/t's are telling me I am making considerable more than that. Especially when you fastor in my race weight of 3670lbs. I guess my high torque number of 400.7 is really moving me in the bottom end?

Was that on a Mustang Dyno. Good track numbers and check out the web site for estimated HP.

Nice numbers! Just curious - what axle ratios are you guys running?

Your trap speed seems consistent with that weight and hp rating....

Your ET is rather spectacular... In fact I'm amazed to see a mid 12 on that trap speed.

I imagine due to off-idle torque and a very good hook. Sounds like your suspension rocks.

Your amazed to see a mid 12 with that mph? Most cars around here that run 105-108 mph traps are mid 12 cars. Mid 12's being 12.7x to a 12.5x. What is it like where you race?

Our local track is prepped extremely poorly, so usually 104-108 is good for a mid to high 13 second pass. Low 13's if you're lucky. 12's only if you have great tires and/or good suspension.

I did 13.7 at 104 and thats the best I ever got.

WOW!

I thought our local track was prepped poor. It's an airstrip with roughly 600ft of VHT compound. Is your track at a high altitude?

My wife's '95 Z28 convertible with 2:73 gears runs 13.7's and .8's at 98 and 99 mph.

Nope, low altitude...it's Florida, there really is no high altitude.

They usually only prep the track up to the 60' as well...

Nobody hooks here...at least not at Orlando Speedworld....it's almost dangerous. My old combo ran 14.5 at 95 mph, and started spinning tire at the 1/8 for no reason.
