Could the fuel pump STILL be bad?
I'm trying to eliminate variables from my no start problem, and..hehe...some various other issues as well.
...anyhow. I took a fuel pressure reading while the car was in the middle of a no-start episode, and I got a solid 40lbs at the rail and about 45 without the vaccum line. That checks out fine. Once I got it started, I drove it for about 20 minutes under varying conditions. I saw NO unexpected flucuations in fuel pressure.
Can I eliminate pump and filter from the equation? I don't see why not.
....forgot to mention: While driving, the bogging problem did occur, but pressure was fine.

as long as your pressure was up & didn't drop, then your pump is fine.
did you have good spark during the no start?
