Fuel line overhaul

Engine: 305 TPI(427SB in progress) 730 $8D
Transmission: THM350 (Getting a 4L80E soon)
Axle/Gears: 10 Bolt w/ 2.43 gears :(
Fuel line overhaul
I'm trying to get some opinions on redoing my fuel lines from the tank to the fuel rails. I just want some opinions on whether to rerun hard line with AN fittings to the hoses for the feed and return or use the braided hose and AN fittings. I'm leaning towards the hard lines. This is on my 82 Camino with a TPI swap in it. Today I had one of my rubber lines leak, so I figured it is time to set up the system properly before something bad happens.

I wouldnt have a problem running new hard lines or using the braided lines.
Briaded would be easier and cleaner to install, since it is easier to work with.
Hard lines arent too bad either, just a little more work to tuck up and fit like original.
I would go with what ever u feel more comfortable working with or more cost effective for you.
Like u have already found out, use a braided or a hard line :-)

I used the rubber rated for fuel injection but it didn't hold up against the high heat in Houston. Luckily it was on the return sid e so it wasn't making a nice mist waiting to be ignited. Noticed it after letting it cool while doing a LOF.

Yeah, I know the stuff.
I've used it to rig a few things together to get my cars or friends cars home or make it unitl we can fix it properly.
I always worry about it getting cut thru and spraying out lol
Doesnt hold up well to pressure + heat. Especially with the weather most of this country has been having. I'm in IN and we have been on the 90+ temp more or less last 2 mths lol

If your ever planning on putting power in to the car do the bigger lines now while your doing it. It wont be a noticeable gain but a neccessity if you ever want true power.
