help with injector size for setup.

im going to be running the following. please suggest what minimum injector size i should be running. thank you so much!

355 TPI with TPIS base and runners.

Full edelbrock exhaust including headers and 3" cat back with cat.

58cc 305 heads with 1.84 valves.

You'll be fine with either a 22 lb or 24 lb injector. If you go with 24, you need to make the proper change in the prom.

oh ok cool. would it have to be bigger if i went with different heads? like a 350 head with 2.02 valves instead of 1.84's? if so how big? i'd preferably be using something close to an edelbrock performer set of heads.

So long as you are running a naturally aspirated TPI intake, you won't need anything larger than 24. That would be good to about 400 hp. There is a formula thats been posted before where you calculate the needed injector size for a given application. You should be able to find it easily with a search.

definately go to the 24lb inj. stock l98s should have had them from the factory.

im actually using the LS1 injectors at the moment and i just wanted to know if they would be ok for further upgrades to my TPI. they shoot at i think 28lbs for the LS1 fuel pressure, and the TPI fuel pressure is 24lbs i think.
