vacuum leaks

is there an easy way to check for vacuum leaks?

Get a bottle of spray starter fluid and spray it at gasket areas or where you think you have a leak. That stuff will make the engine rev. Just small bursts to try to avoid the possibility of a fire....

I know that unless it is a big leak, that you may not hear it. Heck, turn my becool fans on, and you can almost not hear the motor run...
