Air Intake
I revieved an Air Intake from a friend that was off an Acura Legend. I have already mocked up a way to put it on the Camaro, but I was just wondering if it would be benefical to use it over the stock TPI Dual filter assembly. I already have gutter boxes with K&N's.
Given the origin of the parts, the most appropriate means of installation would probably be via an accordian tube or custom duct to reverse the inlet direction, a transition to a smooth tube along the left side of the vehicle, over the rear axle (to provide adequate ground clearance), and a collection inlet near the rear of the vehicle. That, of course, would be most appropriate if you want it to suck *** just like an Acura Legend.
I doubt there would be any real benefit to installing it compared to a dual inlet TPI Camaro setup.
