Car: 1990 rs camaro v8 5spd & 86 t/a 5.7 tpi
Engine: 305 rs-- 350 t/a
Transmission: 700r4 t/a not sure rs
tpi on 86 t/a if you step on the gas car sputters
i have a 86 t/a 5.0 tpi when i step on the throttle hard the car sputters the wont return to normal unless i shut the car off now it does the same thing on its own please help

i had the same problem for a while but mine was throwing up a knock sensor code... after i replaced the knock sensor i started to fill it up with premium gas... no problem since... you can try a little octane boost by the directions on the bottle... but you should do a tune up first. mine had a recent tune up when it happened. if that doesn't get the problem straight, then let it warm up to normal temp first then try to run it.
