New MAF Sensor

I am about to replace the MAF sensor, but before I put in the new one, I am trying to check everything out so I don't burn it out.
I connected a digital volt meter between pins A & E and when I started it, I got 14 Volts. I then connected the volt meter between pins A & D and expected to see 12 V when I turned the key off. I heard some buzzing from one of the relays after the key was off, but no voltage between A & D. Is this correct? Both Maf relays have the same number on them. The number on them is 10038311 9137. Are these the right relays?
Thanks,
Don

The buzzing from the relays is the MAF burnoff function. Check this out... may help

Good Wiring Diagram

Thanks for the reply!
I used this diagram to determine that there should be voltage between pins A & D on the MAF plug when you turn off the key and the burn off relay pulls in. I did not get any voltage. Am I wrong in what I am expecting?

Tell me what is the issue other than your findings.... Codes? I can give you diag charts for which codes. These are out there. Do a search for your issue and you will not believe the results....

MAF

Silver,
I hooked up a Snap On reader and it showed The Maf was low when it was running. Unplugge the maf and it read high. I got a new maf, but I am trying to check everything out before I install it. Am I correct that when I shut the engine off, there should be voltage for a few seconds on the burn off line going into the maf sensor. I don't read any voltage, so I am wondering if the burn off relay is bad or the wrong one. The numbers on both of the maf relays are the same. I just got the engine and don't know what the PO has done to it.
Thanks,
Don

Thanks

Thanks for the chart! I will check it out according to this. Probably will be Sunday or Monday before I get a chance. I'll let you know what I find,

Replaced MAF

I installed the new MAF. Now the SES light stays off. It doesn't idle right yet. RPM goes up and down until it warms up. Then it gets a little better. I am going to take a look at the IAC next.
Any other ideas?
