Need picture of hoses
I have a L98 in my pickup, and the hoses running to and from the waterpump, throttlebody, and intake are kinda messed up. Anyone have pictures of they way they're supposed to be routed. Right now I'm just using generic hoses, are there oem ones that are formed to fit better so they don't kink.
Thanks

yes there are formed hoses, but many people don't hooke up the coolant lines to the throttle body
Assuming you are not using the heater core by pass valve, you really only need a generic heater hose with a formed right angle. Run that from the pipe at the front of the intake manifold to the heater core pipe on the firewall.

Headers and No A/C really clears up the engine bay. Accually looks feasible to change the plugs now.

I really need to get rid of more clutter, just haven't had time.. that's an old pic though, before I switched to speed density.
The lack of A.I.R. helps a lot, but the headers make changing plugs a pain in the *** still. With the stock manifolds and no AC and the AIR removed on my old IROC I was able to do all plugs from up top in about 15 minutes time.

where do you get the hose with a 90 degree bend in it?
I'm working on cleaning up the engine bay. I managed to run the spark plug wires under the headers....gives it a real custom look, but makes some things a pain (like setting the timing, cause I have to use the wire near the distributor, rather down by the spark plug, so I have to figure out which wire it is (doesn't take much, but you konw)

any decent parts store should carry it. I use a local chain, that has people that actually know about cars lol. It costs a little more sometimes, but it beats going to Pepboys or Autozone and trying to get anything that the kids can't easily look up on the computer.
Those two stores also *should* carry it.. just generic heater hose with a formed 90 degree on one end.. mine was like 3 feet long, just cut to fit your truck.

Jay this message is for u. I am going to put TPI in my car. I need to know how to route the vacuum line. I saw a pic that showed the front view. Is there anyway that you could take somemore pics that would show better detail of were everything goes. Do u know if I can use an electric fuel pump(40 pounds or more) instead of putting one in the tank? I have a mass air setup.
