To clearify on the topic, my '91 Z will start and idle for about 10 seconds then it dies, and will not start after that but will turn over. If I wait a few minutes between start attempts, it will fire up, but does the same thing.
Wierd thing is that I am getting a code 22 (TPS)-which is what I origionally associated the problem to when it started a couple of days ago. However, then it would at least start back up right away, but would die at idle. Bow it is far past that but still shooting the code.
Standard checks are good-plugs wires, new cap&rotor, all sensors plugged in and new tps. Jacob's ignition as well. I have a spare ignition module somewhere around here I am going to swap in.
Big question is I suppose, how could not starting be linked to the TPS? Even if a wire was grounding out, it should still shoot the error and go into limp home mode, right? Or does it have to be in the ignition?
Thank you for any advice

I should also note that fuel pressure is verified. And I am way out in the "sticks" and haven't had a second pair of hands to atually check for spark on the start-up attempts

Well, changed the ignition module, it's not that. What else could it be? A bad ignition box? If it was the coil it probably wouldn't start at all, right?

If TPS reads high it will send the code into "clear flood" mode and no fuel will be injected.
Take another look at that TPS and maybe fool the input to only see 1/2 volt. Should make it start if that is the cause.
