im looking to get a cam for my newly rebuilt 5.7 in my iroc but i dont wanna go big enough to where i gotta get a stall, heads worked, and chip burned and all that stuff due to funds. so what would be the best cam to put in a 5.7 w/ some bolt ons and go?!

Sounds to me like you are looking for the ZZ4 cam. Now that is if your heads can handle the extra lift. It gives good performance with a nice idle for the mods you have. If you have a MAF car you will not need a chip burned. Speed density, hard to say but it is a realtively mild cam so you might be able to slip by.

Look at the LPE 213 cam's on eBay. Lingenfelter designed them for stock 350 TPI With stock heads. $100.00 Shipped is not bad for a nice Hyd roller cam.

my car is an MAF so what you said sounds good about the ZZ4 and the LPE 213 sound pretty good to me as well.
