TPI base modification

TPI manifold modification
I just bought a TPI setup off ebay and the seller said it was off a 85 so it would fit the old style heads. When i recived it i found out that it was off a 88 so the middle bolt holes are different. I have heard that these can be modifyed how hard is this to do and will it even work well?
