TPI won't start after head gasket job
the fuel pump runs for 15 seconds or more after trying to start, and i can hear fuel sloshing around in the fuel rails, is the fuel rail not staying full for some reason? are there any tricks for starting after having fuel system apart to get injectors cleaned? also my dist plug-in (the large one) is so tight i can't turn it counterclockwise at all, is it in wrong?

IMO, I would tend to believe that your dist is in wrong. If it were me I wouold pull it, bring the # 1 cyl to TDC on the compr. stroke and drop it back in with the rotor btn pointin towards #1. It "SHOULD" fire up then and then you can adj your timmin accordingly.

Have you adjusted the valves properly. I did that mistake once and i didnt start because some of the valves where open at the wrong time.
