I started with a set of used LT1 injs. I replaced them with Accel injs. They seem to be working OK so far. Got abt 8K miles on them now.
The LT1 injs are 24lbs/hr and the Accel injs are 24/lbs/hr also.

I just install new Ford SVO's #19lb on my LB9, so far so good. No problems to report. I read plenty of folks running the #24lb with their L98. Just remember to get the bigger GM O-rings.

Are bigger O-rings the only difference with the ford injectors

For the #19lb's, I used the bigger O-rings and I also used the retaining clips. The connecters plug right in. I also installed a AFPR. With the 19's there are no PROM changes needed, but from what I read that may not be the case with the larger injectors. I got mine from Summit for $220.

Hey VA1991Z28,

Can you provide the part number? Doing some research, I want to get 24# Fords to replace my crap Accells... I know yours are 19# but it will give me a starting point.

Here are the part numbers:

FMS-M-9593-C302 for the injectors and I also bought from GM the O-Rings: #12587147 which you need 2 of at $21.98 each. I didn't shop around anywhere else for these, maybe you can get them cheaper somewhere else.

Here is a link to a thread we had going a few months back while a couple of us were swapping out our injecotrs:

Hope this helps.

The FMS injectors are the best ones out there. You probably should get the 24#/hr injectors along with an AFPR.
