I'm amazed at how much some of those cars sell for. It almost seems that people are willing to pay through the nose JUST because it's being sold through Barrett-Jackson. I go to the auction every year down here in West Palm Beach, Florida. Certainly not to buy but it really is one huge car show.

Who cares, it just means Third gens will loose thier Joe Dirt Do stigma and be overtaken by 65 year old retired people.

WOW.....that is nuts!!! I think a '90 Trans Am 1LE is way rarer, but this car is NOT worth that kinda dough....

Anyone read the decription?

OPTIONS
COLOR - RED
TRANS - 4 SPEED
CYLINDERS - V8
ENGINE SIZE - 305
HORSEPOWER - 245

Rare "1LE" high performance package, 5.7 liter TPI V8 engine 245 horsepower Z-28 package, performance axle ratio, radio and speaker delete, 1 of 478 built, available to a few selected dealers, not offered to the public, offered with original books, build sheet, window sitcker. This very rare Highway Patrol edition has only "78" original miles.

A 305/5.7 liter V8?

BJ's auctions always tickle me....with not only thier lame *** decriptions, but also the deep pockets that pay 3 times the street value of a vehicle.
