New guy needs help!!!
I recently purchased this 85T/A 305 TPI 700R this is my first TPI car, the past 30yrs all old school stuff "CARBS" so please have patience with me. yesterday the car did not want to idle, when i first started it, had to keep my foot on the pedal to stay running it was about 55 degress outside. used my other car. Today I went to move it into the garage to check things out, GUESS WHAT ? IT STARTED RIGHT UP AND IDLED FINE. its about 32 degrees today. Please help I hate intermitten problems, has anyone ever had this happen? Thanks in advance.

Could be an electrical thing, could be a number of things. How many miles on the car? When did it last get a tune up done. It'd probably be best to start with basic tune up stuff, plugs/ wires cap and rotor, etc. And see where that gets you.

Odometer reads 87567 I going to assume 187,000. I'm going to tune it up and replace all the vacuum lines, clean out the EGR port because it does function but I still get a trouble code for it, also thinking about the fuel press reg while the runners are out and anything elses that looks questionable, I just thought someone has had this problem before that wasnt listed in the manual.

i have never had this problem. sounds to me like you are on the right track. make sure you have clean spark (tuneup, your doing) and take care of all the vaccumme stuff (if it's not broken now it probably will be next week)
you may want to check your fuel pressure. there is a shrader valve (fuel nipple) on the passanger side fuel rail near the back. i think you can rent a fuel pressure tester from autozone or some other parts place if you don't have one. things liek rough idle are somtimes caused by a fuel pump on the way out
good luck
