is it possible? im new to TPI tuning
okay so I have always been a carb guy just because its cheap. so I bought a 88 TPI system for a 305 but im running a mildly built 350. I was just thinking is it possible to tune the factory ecm in realtime? i think thats what its called. also i think i have 19 lb injectors i think i have to go larger, although a friend of mine told they would work if i just turned up the fuel pressure. i just dont like the way that sounds. can you guys help me out? i want to do this right the first time. thanx

like 1989GTATransAm said, the Ostrich will do what your talking about.
if you want to put a chip back in the car after you get it tuned you will need to have a chip burner, if you have one then the Ostrich is for you, if you don't have a burner you may what to look into the AutoProm. the AutoProm does real time emulation & burns chips.
the AutoProm must have a laptop hooked up to it to work, the Ostrich can be programed with your desktop & then put in your car & run by itself.
you will probably also want to read the stickies at the top in the DIY PROM section on the board here.
you can find both the Ostrich & AutoProm, along with pretty much everything else you need to to tune your ECM here, http://www.moates.net/
