how do you polish the TPI

how do you polish the TPI
So how do people polish there TPI's? Cause Im thinking about doing it to mine but I need to know how it is done.

Another Idea that you may want to consider, comp coating. Its not that expensive and you won't have to polish it every couple of weeks. Just wipe it down and its back to pretty and shiny.

That and polishing them takes a long time and a lot of patience. I just polished the flat top part and the fins and had the cracks between the fins and the rest of the sides, runners, intake, etc. powder coated gloss black (or whatever color you want to do). They make a powder coating that looks pretty close to a polished aluminum also as Aussie said.
If you want to polish the whole thing though, make sure you buy the aluminum distributor/coil cover for the back of the plenum. The one Firebirds/Camaros have are plastic. I guess Corvettes came with an aluminum one. That way the polish is complete all the way back. I've seen them online and Im sure you could probably get one at the Chevy dealer as well. Good luck.
