Burnoff relays question

Hi All,
I'm pretty sure i need to replace my relays because intermittin code 36 . the question is i went to advance auto parts with my old relay(burnoff) and they could not match it. they only had a FP relay for my ride. So i told them pull the FP relay off the shelf so i could compare the wiring diagrams on the old burnoff relay to the FP relay at advance auto . Everything looked to be the same, the pin outs in the diagram and the way the pins looked.. Is this ok to do? I also think that orginally the FP/burnoff/and power relays are all the same anyway right? The reason i ask is i'm going to buy the MAF power relay too. Because the burnoff and power relays go hand in hand from what i been reading. I just want to make sure before i buy the next relay if comparing like this will work. hope you can understand what i'm saying here

GOD I HOPE THIS FIXES MY RIDE. its been a whle with winter and the hard starts the tires are starting to dry out. i'll have to smoke them up!!!!

The MAF power and burn off LOOK exactly the same, but they are not. They are two different part numbers. Advanced Auto had the power relay, but not the burn off. So I bought two power relays, and it didn't fit the burnoff. The only place I ever seen that carried a burn off relay for our cars was gmpartsdirect.com

So what y'all think intermitten code 36 is normally a replacement of both relays right. then go from there

Strange, isn't it, that the system actually works fairly well when operating as it was designed? Go figure.

Hey My Fuel pressure is set to about 50psi with vac, with out is like 55-57 or so. I know this is way way to high but it seems to run really much better then the 48 psi range. I can feel it when i snap the throttle back. Could it be that i have lower PSI injectors and i'm running higher rating in my chip?

19lb injector and 22 in my chip. for example?

As far as i know stock vette injectors are 22lb but maybe i have 19lb.

do the stock injectors have the green ring around them , think they are boosh with the green strip from what i remember. i know they are not tomco injectors. there lettering is normally pretty big.

thanks

I did the same thing, but neither would fit for the burnoff relay.

it's possable that the wiring harness is routed in correctly and that you might be looking at a differnt relay or ur not looking in the rightt stop. double check i have vette mine are next the the battery but there are like 3 more right next to the battery too.

Man somethings wierd. I got two of the MR22's. And they both fit over the power, but not the burnoff. It would only go half on.
