MAF EGR compatable with SD?
Hey guys!
I'm just doing the finishing touches on my speed density conversion, but just thought of something I didn't before. As far as the EGR goes, can a guy even use the old MAF EGR with the new speed density ECM? The newer ECM doesn't have the EGR temp switch etc, or should I save myself the trouble of routing the EGR wires / vac lines and just use the old EGR as a blockoff plate?

you shouldn't have any problem using the old EGR valve.
if i remember right the SD systems turns the EGR off & then back on at certain times & looks for a change in the MAP reading to see if its working.
