Heated O2 conversion

Has anyone done a three wire heated O2 sensor conversion, and if so, what parts and labor are involved in such a conversion?

If you want a fully automatic heater circuit for your TPI (install some hedders, did we?) you can try this type circuit:

You can just wire the heater(s) directly to ignition power. This circuit will shut off the heaters once the ECM reaches closed loop (which it can only do if the O²s are hot and reporting) to save the heater elements. I'm not sure how much it would extend the life of the heaters, however.

Thanks for the schematic, and yes, I have hookers. (the headers ) My scanner was showing the O2 acting very sluggish and I figured it just wasn't quite getting hot enough. I'll give this a try, Thank you.
