Got new motor in and want to delete air pump.

The new short block came in and I am getting ready to put it all back together. It is a .40 over 350..so I guess it is a 357CI now

Above is the link for my car and other pics. I have been a member on that forum for some time now. Anyway

Do I need to reprogram the chip for the air pump delete? Or can I just get rid of it without triping the CEL light.

thanks for the help guys!!!

To do it properly, you should disable it in the eprom, as your BLMs will be off slightly, being leaner than stoich. Ive had mine removed for a while, and later on I removed it in the eprom.
