Looking for a high flow MAF

I swear that someone on here was running a chip style MAF but I can't find the post for the life of me and I have no idea who made the sensor.

This is Jet's version. They only list 94+ (LT1/LS1) for GM applications though so I'm at a loss. I'm 99% sure that I saw one for a TPI engine. I think the company might have started with a w?

Thanks for the info. I hit google and it looks like that happened two years ago so odds of finding one is pretty slim. I'm guessing no one else makes them?

My MAF recently died and I'm in need of a replacement.

Edit: mirco-tech also makes one. Any idea if it's a bosh style or a high flow style? http://www.micro-tech-auto.com/images/pdf/prodrev.pdf

It is very broke. I need a new one, that's why I'm looking into this. I don't care about adjustable but if there's a higher flow version out there I would gladly buy it.

Is the mirco-tech and/or granatelli MAF high flow?

I had a Granatelli and loved it at first. Then in about 4 months car started running like crap and I was getting the maf code. I got a new one code went away but car still running like crap. I got a refund and bought a rebuilt stock one car still running like crap. Changed my injectors all better. Its not even worth the trouble getting an aftermarket maf they never work right. Most tuners will tell you this. Your stock one will flow a ton of air. Unless you want to run 9s youll be alright with stock.

1) What is this thing about "a chip in a MAF"? Some new technology that I have not heard of. I get a kick out of LS1 guys who claim that their car has a "chip". These cars no not have chips, I got one and I flash new programs directly onto the PCM. I dont think our 3rd gen MAFs has a special chip that makes them better.

2) You can go to TPIS and buy one of their ported, de-screened MAFs. Its as good as you can get.

3) Yep, its a shame that us 3rd genners can't get a big 90mm MAF. My car is starved for air.

and pic:

Ok, the pic isn't working, think thick film MAF and that's what they mean by a 'chip'.

WOW some good stuff there. I thought the stock MAF was only good for
4xx cfm . Nice to know it will support 400 hp too.
