Hey guys I have a buddy buying my 89 L98 (iroc iron heads) motor to use in his 86 corvette which also has iron heads. Is the angle of the center two intake bolts the only thing he will need to f--k with? Am I correct in the info saying that he can modify his tpi base to work?

 

AFAIK, you'll have to elongate the two center intake bolt holes on each side, and use some sort of tapered washer or machine the surface to get correct bearing under the bolt heads.
