T/B coolant bypass and emissions
Hey guys, car failed emissions last night. Too high on hydrocarbons and NOX. I realized after that I did the throttle body bypass last fall. Will this alter the emissions? 89 GTA 5.7 tuned port. Thanks.

dude all the tb bypass does is keeps the throttle body cooler. It was made for our cars in cold weather.
While you are sitting in the line to get tested and your car is at operating temps your throttle body is plenty warm and will not hurt the emmisions.
Try the o2 sensor. timing, tune up, and check the egr for sure.
