I went to the Ac delco site and did a parts listing search on both the 86 305 and the 87 350.

I found this under the 87 350 listing

08 217-231 INJECTOR KIT,M/PORT FUEL
Second Design REQUIRES O-RING P/N 217-1379
LUCAS)(ID BY CAV ON SI OF INJR)(FOR 1ST DES SEE 17111961

The (ID BY CAV ON SI OF INJR) is what is on most of mine. (as they have failed I have replaced them with what I thought was the right style and used 19LB bosch ones.) So I'm thinking this means that my 305 had been set up for larger 22lb ones. does that sound right?

So from here what do you think I should do? I have a mix of both Bosch 19Lb ones and AC deco 22Lb ones and! I have those second hand 19LB ones coming from Canada.

my options are:

1: Should I look at just getting a new set of 22lb ones and get you to changes that chip to run them on a 305?
2: Keep the Hypertech Chip in and get new 22LB ones (also what's your thoughts on those chips, do those chips really make a difference anyway?)
3: Install the 19lb injectors when they get here and use the chip you made me as is?

What would be the best way for most power and reliability?

Francis.
